Heuchera ‘Marmalade’ is a vibrant and versatile evergreen perennial known for its ruffled, amber-toned foliage that ranges from deep apricot to burnt orange with subtle pink undersides. The colour intensifies in cooler weather, adding seasonal interest year-round. In summer, delicate sprays of tiny cream flowers rise above the foliage on slender stems, adding a soft, airy touch. A reliable, compact variety that brings colour and texture to borders, containers, and shaded spots.

  • Height: 25–30cm (with flower spikes to 40cm)
  • Spread: 40–50cm

Thrives in partial shade but will tolerate full sun with enough moisture. Prefers well-drained soil; avoid waterlogged conditions. Ideal for year-round structure and low-maintenance colour. Tidy up old leaves in spring to allow fresh foliage to shine. Benefits from mulching and occasional feeding. Divide every few years to rejuvenate and multiply plants.

Perfect for edging paths, underplanting shrubs, or adding contrast to perennial borders. Ideal in pots with contrasting foliage like silver Brunnera or dark Ajuga. Combines beautifully with grasses, ferns, and spring bulbs. Its foliage makes a brilliant foil for brighter blooms or as part of a tonal orange and bronze planting scheme.
